The VIS Innovation Center represents a blend of our deep desire to innovate with our extensive experience in product and process design over many years of developing hydraulic cartridge valve solutions.

Our aim is to be a true extension of our customers’ new product development process to help them bring the most innovative solutions to realization for their products.

The cross-functional design structure within the Innovation Center provides our customers with high-level technical and quality input into the design process. This results in a fast and flexible response to new designs that distinguishes VIS in the market.

Research and development project: Mechatronic hydraulic valves equipped with innovative sensors

This project had the aim to conceive, design, optimize and test "smart" hydraulic valves equipped with internal sensors that permit to detect in real time the most important functioning characteristics.
Thanks to these sensors it's possible to correct/compensate the valve performance following a logic control system and furthermore to use signals with the aim to predictive diagnostic.

The projects mentioned above, co-funded by the European regional Development fund, were completed at the end of 2022.

Our prototype shop is equipped with turning machines for soft and hard turning to produce sample lots of new projects.
